EM2037 series 2D CMOS scan engine, powered by advanced imaging technology and Newland patented UIMG technology, a computerized image recognition system, can read barcodes printed on paper/plastic or displayed on mobile phones with excellent motion tolerance. The EM2037 supports both mainstream 1D and standard 2D barcode symbologies (e.g., PDF417, QR Code, Data Matrix, and Composite Code) as well as Chinese Sensible Code and GS1-DataBarTM (RSS) (Limited/Stacked/Expanded versions). Next to that, the EM2037 provides flexibility in integration/ mounting possibilities; thanks to its flexible design one can integrate the scan engine and decoding board as one or separate the decoding board from the engine. The EM2037 also features compact & lightweight design and various communication interfaces. The EM2037s’ high-performance CPU in conjunction with provided APIs and SDK makes it easy to develop application programs.
